This festival is put on by the Serra Mesa Community Council and thousands of San Diego County residents attend each year. Admission is free and includes live music, beer garden, kid activities and pony rides, and great fair food. This is the 2nd year that the Burnsville Band has performed at this event. Helix Center Customer Appreciation Day & Burnsville Sign Works Grand Opening

This is an annual Customer Appreciation Day at the Helix Center the home of Top Gear Guitar Pro Shop in La Mesa. It will also be the grand opening event for Burnsville Sign Works also located in Helix Center (which caters to bands and is the place to get your band swag including custom apparel, kick drum decals, band banners, and business cards.) There will be free food, sodas and rock -n- blues by the Burnsville Band for your Sunday afternoon entertainment starting around 2:00 pm. There will be another opening band starting around 12:00.

Pink Bash for Cash Fundraiser

$40 donation (includes dinner). This fundraiser includes a silent auction and is being held to send Marina Inserra to the Miss California Beauty Pageant. Part of the proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer Awareness and Research as that is Marina's platform. Marina won San Diego's Outstanding Teen 2008.
